This is absolutely ridiculous, these intersections have permanent skid mark circles from all the donuts.
I chatted with OPD the other day over the fact that the same sideshows take place in the same locations every night, yet they do nothing about it. They only thing they told me is that they need plates, and (get this) they want you to go out into the middle of the sideshow, in the middle of the night and start taking pictures of license plates (lmao!), because as I was told "that's the only way way we can apprehend these individuals". They would rather have us citizens go out in the middle of the night and get shot, then have officers actually do their jobs. Absolutely ridiculous.

Any estimates for how much such bumps/dots will cost to install, at how many intersections they will be needed, and how many costs will be incurred by motorists driving over these bumps/dots at this and other intersections in terms of added wear and tear to their vehicles?
Skid mark circles aren't really harming anything, are they?

They’re harming the community, every morning looks like a war zone, almost every night we’re woken up by cars careening, barely not crashing into curbs or poles, leaving damage and litter for the residents to pick up for them.
But if you still think they’re “not harming anything” just post your address and I’ll let them know you’re cool with them pulling nightly sideshows on your street.

I think you misread my comment, "GoodSamaritin". Being woken up is a form of harm, as is littering, but my comment was not about those things. I was simply addressing the narrower issue you raised about the skid mark circles.
I don't think residential city streets are good places for sideshows to happen. There need to be legal places to do them where it is less disruptive.
